Cliffside Park Public Library Citizenship Class

The Cliffside Park Public Library offers citizenship classes and resources to help immigrants prepare for the naturalization test. These programs include preparation for both the English language and civics components of the test. Please note, you must be able to speak and understand English to participate.

Important Note:

Our tutors cannot offer legal advice, assist with immigration forms, or provide guidance on which forms are required. Their role is strictly educational.

Classes are held once a week for one hour.

How to Apply

  1. Complete the application form and submit it in person at the library.
  2. Once we receive your application, you will be scheduled for an in-person interview to assess your English speaking and reading abilities. Assessments must be completed by the applicant in person and cannot be done on their behalf.
